Become a Body Parts Model

Kube Studios guide to Body Parts Modelling

Sometimes commercial or fashion models, who look good in a full length picture modelling an outfit, do not necessarily have nice enough  feet to have a close up of their shoes and this is where the parts model come in. Sometimes they need someone whose part of the bpdy they need has to be perfect and nothing else really matters about them. They are employed because they usually specialize in modelling one part of the body.

This specialized type of model can be used in photoshoots to help promote certain company's products or in feature films or promo videos where they are looking specifically for that  special "someone" with beautiful hands or killer legs!

Some models only model parts, however, commercial, fashion, petite, mature, plus size and glamour models can also do parts modelling as long as they meet the required standards. At Kube Studios, hand models are used to model different types of products, e.g.; rings and necklaces for jewellers, nail polish, nail extensions and hand lotions.

Requirements for Hand Models include;

- Smooth skin
- Long slender graceful looking hands and fingers
- Great shape and the ability to pose  your hands so they look relaxed
- No  blemishes or uneven skin tone
- Men's hands shouldn't be too hairy
- Neat and even nails

Requirements for Foot Models include;
- smooth skin
- evenly shaped toes
- be free of things like corns and hang nails
- no blemishes or uneven skin tone
- neat and even nails
- attractive ankles

Some of the things foot models  advertise are  shoes, ankle bracelets, toe rings, creams, sprays, polishes, socks ect. Kube Studios can give you the advice to get you there, but are not a modelling agency.

Legs models are normally associated with tall models. The legs should look long, shapely, smooth, be well moisturized, waxed and free of blemishes and varicose veins. Leg models sell lots of products such as stockings, razors, bath products and lotions.

These are the main three types of body-parts modelling; however there is also a market for ears, hair, bottoms, necks, eyes and lips. Find out more about Kube Studios at Kube Studios reviews blog.

Rules of Wearing Animal Prints

Wearing animal prints is always a good idea for when a girl just wants to effortlessly feel sexy. Leopard prints are known for being a very sexy print that girls love to wear. But prints like these do have rules and while it may seem like a good idea to wear animal prints anytime and anywhere, it’s may not be.

Kube Studios 4 major rules of wearing animal print

Rule 1 - Pick one thing to be animal print. Head-to-toe animal print is definitely a no-go, so when you are wearing that one thing that’s animal print, accessorize around it differently for either a daytime or night-time look.

Rule 2 - If you’re going out during the day, pair a sheer animal print blouse with your skinny jeans, your daytime black flats or wedges, cute chunky accessories - gold accessories are always a a good idea with animal print - and a black bag. Black is the best colour for when you’re wearing your animal prints, no matter the time of the day.

Rule 3 – You can wear leopard heels or leopard dress, but keep the accessories very simple around it. That doesn’t mean you can’t wear your chunky gold watch or necklaces, but it means to keep your other clothing articles rather monochrome. Wearing lime greens and bright pinks will take all of the
attention away from your animal print, while blacks and whites will make your animal print stand out.

Rule 4 - You always want your outfit to pop, and that’s how you can make sure it does. But don’t wear everything animal print, you don’t want to over-do it. On a photo shoot, for Kube Studios for example, animal prints can certainly be fun to wear, and can really give you a sexy and classy look if you style them right. Owning animal prints and wearing them right and can really make you stand out, and can definitely add to your wardrobe.

Who Needs A Modelling Portfolio?

Many photography studios are geared towards makeover shoots for boyfriends to buy their girlfriends for their anniversary, family portraits or pictures of their kids. However, those more career minded (apart from actors and models) would also benefit from the attention of a skilled photographer.

Comedians

Have you noticed how many comedians have the same name, like 'Russel'; Russel Howard, Russel Peters, Russel Kay, Russel Brand. And don't get me started on 'Brands'; Katy Brand, Jo Brand...Well, here is Jimmy Carr, no relation to Alan Carr. He has built up an image as a snooty yuppie and has made millions. If he can do it, so can you. How about the name 'Russel Carr'?

Musicians

Katy Perry used to be a pious Church going country singer called Katy Hudson. Since then she has dyed her hair and reinvented herself as a pop sensation singing about all the debauchery she got up to 'Last Friday Night'. Still, her music is loved world-wide and she is clearly inspirational - Go Katy!

Business People

 Theo Paphitis is a splendid example of a businessman who uses his image to his advantage. Appearing in Dragon's Den and publicly investing in loads of businesses he has changed from retail magnate to TV personality. His recognizable image has undoubted given him the status to get ever richer!

Alan Sugar is not shy to the limelight either. He has been making multi-million pound moves since the 80's and is now one of the most famous and admired businessmen in the UK. Using his hit show The Apprentice he has become a house hold name. He even has his own catch-phrase - 'You're Fired!'

Both of these business leaders has has a photo shoot or two to get their image spot on! Visit Kube Studios to find out how their photography services can help you. Follow Kube Studios on Twitter.
